1. Where do you deliver?
We offer two delivery methods. Selected nearby postcodes receive Sarthi Mart Local Delivery from our own local team. Other eligible UK addresses receive DPD UK Courier Delivery. Enter your postcode while shopping to see the delivery method available for your address.
2. How does Local Delivery work?
If your postcode is in our local delivery area, you qualify for Sarthi Mart Local Delivery. Orders of £25 or more are delivered free of charge and orders below £25 are charged £2.79. There is no weight limit for Local Delivery. Same-day delivery is available for eligible orders placed before 3 PM, Monday to Saturday; orders placed later are usually delivered within 24 hours.
3. How does UK Courier Delivery work?
For eligible addresses outside our local area, we offer DPD UK Courier Delivery. Orders of £75 or more qualify for free delivery up to 28kg. Orders below £75 are charged £6.69. Additional weight charges apply above 28kg, and a flat £15.00 delivery charge applies for orders between 84kg and 112kg.
4. When will my DPD order arrive?
Orders placed before 12 PM Monday-Friday are normally dispatched the same working day for next-day delivery. Weekend dispatch is not available. Orders placed on Saturday or Sunday are normally dispatched on Monday and delivered on Tuesday. Courier-side delays may occasionally occur.
5. What happens with heavy orders?
For UK Courier Delivery, orders between 84kg and 112kg have a flat £15.00 delivery charge. Orders over 112kg cannot be accepted online — please contact Sarthi Mart directly and we will advise you of the available delivery option. Local Delivery has no weight limit, so this does not apply to Local orders.
6. Are your prices similar to local Indian grocery shops?
Yes — our prices are kept in line with local Indian grocery stores. You get the same products without the journey.
7. What products do you sell?
We stock atta and flours, rice, pulses and lentils, oil and ghee, spices and masalas, snacks, tea and coffee, Indian soft drinks, dry fruits, instant mixes, and home essentials. We also carry our own brand, Shashwat by Sarthi Mart.
